clean and simple day 5

Supplies: Stamps - Hero Arts formula fun, Papertrey Ink tag its #6; Inks - Versafine onyx black, Versafine smoky gray, Versacolor cement; Card - Stampin' Up sahara sand; Twine - The Twinery maraschino; Dies - Spellbinders circles; Clear embossing powder; Stampin' Up clips assortment

I'm sharing this card today as part of Clean Simple Card making day 5 - techniques. I'm hoping this card shows the technique of heat embossing, in particular, using clear embossing powder to give a subtle effect. Here I stamped Hero Arts formula fun onto sahara sand card and clear embossed. I thought it created a understated effect for quite a busy background.

I'm also going to pop this card over to Moxie Fabs embossing and debossing challenge.

Have a great weekend!
