Tuesday Trigger

I bet I'm not the only one this week that looks at the Tuesday Trigger over on Moxie Fab World and thinks PTI Lovely Layers!

I stamped one of the images from the set five times in Hero Arts inks and then cut and layered the pieces together. Here's the trigger so you know where I was coming from:

Short and sweet as I've got lots to do today :)

Supplies: Stamps - Papertrey Ink lovely layers; Inks - Hero Arts soft green, soft purple, pool, bubble gum, raspberry jam, Versafine smokey gray

case study challenge 130

Well it's that time again, time for the last card from our CASE Study muse this month. I think being a short month makes February fly by so much faster :( Teri has been amazing to CASE each week and this week is a stunner; take a look.

There is so much to be inspired by this card I wasn't sure which direction to go in! The label with collage elements caught my eye, the sentiment pieces with white writing on coloured card and the neutral backdrop. Here's my card:

That background is the new to me and totally gorgeous Hero Arts looped flower pattern which I white heat embossed onto soft stone cardstock. The label just had to be Lil' Inker Designs newly released notebook die and then I added some die cuts with matching images from Clearly Besotted Stamps butterfly wishes and leafy accents sets. The sentiment is from their happy everything and is again white heat embossed.

Here's the rest of the crew for more inspiration:

lil' inker designs day 3

It's the last day of Lil' Inker Designs sneak peeks. Hopefully as part of the hop you've arrived here from Amy's blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything.

When I'm doodling my design tends to be ever expanding and the new Notebook Doodles set is fabulous for this effect! I started with the large heart doodle and then popped smaller doodle images around and into gaps until I'd filled half a card front! I kept a rough diagonal to the edge of the stamping for interest.

Although it's difficult to see, I highlighted bits of the design with Star Dust Stickles - so sparkly in real life! The design of this card is so CAS and yet there so much going on in there LOL.

Now it's time to hop on over to Isha for more fun inspiration :)

lil' inker designs day 2

I'm continuing on with Lil' Inker Designs latest release today. Hopefully as part of the hop you've arrived here from Amy's blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything.

So today we are highlighting something a little different and totally fun! How about some freestyle type doodle art with a matching die notebook die! I was transported back to my teens when I saw this stamp set LOL and so I thought I'd dress up a little Moleskine notebook as a gift that hopefully would be cool enough for any teen :)

I die cut a notebook page and stamped the matching image in Versafine smoky gray and then stamped the fun star doodle over the top in Versafine onyx black. Then I took a fine paintbrush and wet the end before picking up some colour from an inktense pencil and highlighting some of the swirls and stars

Finally I added a couple of cardstock strips to the Moleskine notebook and clipped my notebook page to it with a little paperclip.

Now it's time to hop on over to Jen's blog for more inspiration :)

I'm having terrible trouble with blogger and comments at the moment. Please keep trying or alternatively drop me an email and I will try and add comments for you. I seem to be finding that if I click on 'comments' I have trouble but if I click on the post title and scroll down to the comments section it looks slightly different and I can comment fine! Blogger grrrrrr! Many thanks for the continued support while I'm having this issue.

lil' inker designs day 1

It's time for a Lil' Inker Designs new release hop with three fun filled days of new stamps and diesHopefully as part of the hop you've arrived here from Amy's blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything.

Now before we get on to my card for today I'd like to give a big welcome to the amazingly talented and new team member Suzanne Dahlberg!

So today we are highlighting three new products - Circles and Diamond Stitched Pattern die, Connected Circles die and Darling Diamonds stamp set. All three of these new items can be used together or individually. I picked the delightful stamp set Darling Diamonds to work with. Seriously cute shape in a variety of patterns with fabulous large font sentiments :)

I stamped a line of diamonds in different luscious Hero Arts inks and then stamped more diamonds above but offset and then the same below finishing off with that lovely large Hello sentiment :)

Now for some extra fun we have a little stamp set with the fabulous name Awesome Sauce! This set will be available free to customers who place an order over $75 while supplies last. Use the code AWESOMESAUCE :)
